Facebook has been selling advertising spots on the website. This ads are normally placed to the right of the page. These ad spots were meant for the bigger companies, but now they are starting to be bought by smaller companies will to do anything to get the viewers that they want. Many have been using ads that are sometimes funny, weird, and just plain creepy. These self-service ads are great when they work , but when they don't they cause the marketer to be put off by the ad.

I think that this is a problem to the users of the websites. I think that these ads can be distracting, and most of the time they seem to be pointless and aiming in no direction related to the things being sold. I think that if these companies want to have there ad spot they should put ads in them that are better and less weird.
