Piracy Finds The Press

read more here!

The over all sales of records fell by alnmost 10 percent last year. It was said by a trade group that as revene growth from digital aervices were inseficient to conpensate for a continuing fall in salesof compact discs. The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry is renewing its calls for a tougher crackdown on digital piracy, which it blames for a 30 percent decline in global music sales from 2004 to 2009.The trade group is fed up with the increasing amounts of piracy and are ready to take charge.
I think that this is going work out well for the economy. The people that were pirating the compact discs will no either stop or get caught. This will improve the overall economy of the world. this way more people will be forced to buy the CD's from the stores and the level of pirated music downloaded from the internet will decrease also, making the music downloaded of the internet legal again and paid for.
